A return to the call of Jesus—guided by the Holy Spirit, lived out in simple cell groups that multiply disciples who obey His words.

Unchurch: TKW draws from the wisdom of the Bible, Jesus, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the stories of faithful pilgrims across history to advance God’s Kingdom. We empower believers to embody His presence, cultivating worship, intimacy, relationships, mission, and stewardship that reveal heaven’s culture in every sphere.

Kingdom Purpose

Unchurch: The Kingdom Way exists to reveal the fullness of God’s Kingdom through Spirit-empowered disciples who embody the life of Jesus in every place. Modern life fragments us: isolated from God’s presence, disconnected from our true identity (Spirit, Soul, & Body), alienated from neighbors, and estranged from the earth we steward. Jesus saw this brokenness and called for restoration through disciples who live His Kingdom reality partnered with the Holy Spirit.

Spirit-Led Cell Groups

Unchurch centers on small, home-based cell groups (up to 15 people) that meet regularly to encounter God, encounter each other, and advance His Kingdom. These are not programs or “just” Bible studies—they’re living fellowships where the Holy Spirit leads ordinary believers to obey Jesus’ words in real time.

We cultivate a family of believers who worship passionately, love deeply, and live supernaturally. Every follower carries the presence of Christ, demonstrating His power through prayer, forgiveness, miracles, compassion, and truth.

What Happens in a Cell Group?

There are many forms the cell meeting may take any given season or any given night for that matter. Being spirit-led allows us the freedom to meet the current needs in that moment. A cell group may spend their time getting to know one another or a new visitor more through in-depth icebreakers, praying for healings, it could be spent in intercession for a backslidden member, testimony night, a love feast(4+ hours), a spiritual warfare prayer walk in a targeted area, fasted half night/all night prayer session, a service project, a worship night, a hike/day in nature, a weekend advance, going grocery shopping for a member in need, or even a convergence of cells in an area for mutual edification, joint outreach, or missional efforts, etc., etc., etc. x 70.

To prepare and equip ourselves for the various workings of the Holy Spirit we follow a certain flow for our lives and cell group meetings. A regular 90-120 minute cell meeting has the following elements:

  • Opening Prayer: Thank God. Cover the meeting. Invite the Holy Spirit’s presence and guidance. Prepare our hearts to receive the Word.
  • Worship: Songs of praise together. (A Reading of a psalm, poem, song, or hymnal may be substituted in sound sensitive areas.)
  • Recap: One volunteer recaps last week’s passage/session/activities.
  • Body Work: Life updates, honest highs/lows, answered prayers, “I will statement” from last week, discipleship work
  • Sword Training: Immerse ourselves in the word of God. Ruminate on it. Respond to it.
  • Evangelism Work: Pray, listen, and then discuss the ongoing individual efforts and the next outreach event.
  • Closing Prayer: Thank God. Seal the work and revelation from the Word & Spirit. Release the Meeting.

Why Spirit-Led Cells?

Jesus’ Exact Pattern: He discipled twelve intimately, sent them out empowered by the Spirit (Luke 10), and gathered them again to debrief and grow. We simply replicate this.

The Kingdom advances through relationships energized by the Holy Spirit. Every gathering, no matter how small, becomes a dwelling place where Jesus Himself leads — teaching, healing, equipping, and sending through His presence.

In Spirit‑led cells, leadership flows from discerning God’s voice together rather than executing human plans. Each believer carries gifts, wisdom, and authority from the Spirit, forming a living ecosystem of disciples who hear, obey, and multiply.

These cells mirror the early Church — simple, relational, and supernatural. They grow and multiply as spiritual families that reveal Christ in everyday life, transforming communities from within and releasing the power and love of the Kingdom wherever they gather.

How We Are Unique

For true Cell Group Churches, the cell meeting is the church. Everything happens at the cell level. There is still a celebration service on Sundays, just as a traditional “Campus” style church would have. How we do it differently than even other cell churches is by hosting this service online for all to attend wherever they are.
